Tank Insulation
Our standing lock seam tank insulation panel system delivers structurally superior, maintenance-free, and lower cost insulation than conventional tank insulation methods. The Trac-Loc is ideal for large, flat-bottomed tanks used for storage of materials that are sensitive to temperature fluctuations and require a covering of insulation and jacketing to reduce heat loss or gain. The Trac-Loc Vertical Lock-Seam Tank Insulation system is unique in its design, panel construction and installation techniques.
Tank Heating
Our tank heating solutions are used for freeze protection and maintaining fluid temperatures in small-, medium- and large-volume, industrial storage tanks. Typical applications for electrical heat tracing of tanks and vessels include:
freeze protection of low and medium viscosity fluids (water, ammonia) | temperature maintenance for medium viscosity fluids (oils, resins) | crystallization prevention (caustic soda) | condensation prevention (fly ash in conical bases of silos)
Frost Heave Protection
Applied Products provides full design capabilities for the prevention of frost heave under grade mounted cryogenic tanks, tanks or vessels containing LNG, ammonia, or other low temperature liquids. Rugged, reliable cable systems prevent the ground below the tank from freezing and rising to cause the tank floor or wall to weaken and rupture.
