Slab Snow Melting
DigiTrace® EC-TS
The EC-TS is an ambient, pipe or slab sensing thermostat that provides accurate temperature control, 30 amp switching, visual indication and sensor monitoring, all at a very economical price. The EC-TS is available in three configurations, one for ambient sensing and two for pipe or slab sensing. The EC-TS-AMB includes an ambient sensor, the EC-TS-10 includes a 10-foot sensing lead and the EC-TS-25 includes a 25-foot sensing lead. All versions include a clear lid that allows for easy viewing of the temperature dial and the LED indicators for power, heating cable status and sensor alarm. Typical applications for the EC-TS include pipe freeze protection, flow maintenance, electric thermal storage, and snow melting. For snow melting systems, the EC-TS-10 and EC-TS-25 are ideal for use as a high limit slab-sensing thermostat in conjunction with a snow controller.
